Food Truck Rally in the West End this Friday
The Food Truck Rally is coming to Whitewater Blvd between Main and Fairview, this Friday 5-9pm.
The Food Truck Rally is partnering with the Boise Relay for Life this Friday, March 14th to kick off their fundraising efforts. The Food Truck Rally is a monthly event in the Boise area that gathers food trucks in one spot for a community dining experience. 7 trucks will be rounded up at Whitewater Park Blvd (formally 30th Street) between Main and Fairview from 5-9pm. The American Cancer Society will have registration available for this year’s Relay for Life as well as giveaways and prizes! Radio Boise’s DJ Winkle will be spinning great tunes for everyone to enjoy.
In honor of Relay for Life, each truck will have a special purple-themed dish on their menu. Patrons of the rally will get to vote via donating to the American Cancer Society and the truck raising the money most will be honored!
Payette Brewing will have craft beer on tap plus a selection of Idaho wines available. IDs are required.
This is a family friendly (and dog-on-leash friendly) event. Parking available on site. Carpooling is encouraged. Bike parking available too!
Boise River Park Phase 2 Public Meeting

Park users, neighbors and the community are invited to attend a public meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 26, to learn more about plans to extend the Boise River Park, add in-river features and wildlife habitat, and make shoreline improvements.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the Associated General Contractors Building, 1649 W. Shoreline Drive, with a presentation by the design team from McMillen, S2o Design, and DHM Design.

West End Trail Artwork – Poster Order Form
Thanks to everyone who made Saturday’s ribbon cutting a success. If you missed Saturday you might be interested to know that VPNA is taking orders for posters containing the West End Trail artwork. Orders will be taken until 11/16/13. Posters will be being printed professionally and locally at ARC Document Solutions at Idaho & 27th Street. All proceeds benefit future VPNA events and projects.
Ordering options include two sizes:
Small Size: $15 for set of all 4 posters (7×17 inch size)
Large Size: $65 for set of all 4 posters (12×24 inch size)
Large size: Single posters – pick from Diversity, Farmland, Industry or Opportunity designs. $18 each (12×24 inch size)

Sneak peak of West End Trail designs
Here is a sneak peak of West End Trail sign designs (click on blue title if you are reading this in an email to link to the VPNA website). If you love the artwork as much as us, you’ll be happy to hear VPNA will be accepting orders for posters based on these designs at the ribbon cutting party this Saturday from 2-5pm at Fairview Park. This artwork was created by the Neighborhood Allstars, a local design company whose partners live in our neighborhood. All proceeds from the poster sale will support VPNA.
