The Rotary Group has proposed and been approved by the city for an 18 acre “Wetlands Peace Preserve” in the wetlands area near the end of Willow Lane and just south of the park.

For those who missed Rotary’s presentation in late January 2023, here is their proposed revised design for the Wetlands Park area. The revised design focuses improvements in the grassy area between the parking lot and the BMX park, while maintaining the wild nature of the trail along the river.
